In the event that the balance falls below the minimum operating balance as stated within the relevant product details below, the rate of interest which shall apply is currently 0.05% Tax-Free§ p.a/AER (variable). These accounts are not flexible cash ISAs meaning any amount withdrawn cannot be replaced and will count towards your yearly ISA limit.



  • Limited Issue Online Access Cash ISA (Issue 15)

    Interest Rate:

    1.30% Tax-free§ p.a./AER variable

    Maturity date of 03 January 2021

    • Interest paid: On maturity (03 January 2021).
    • Minimum investment & operating balance: £1,000.
    • Maximum investment: The maximum you can invest in the 2019/2020 tax year is £20,000 (less any amount invested in a Stocks and Shares ISA, Innovative Finance ISA and/or Lifetime ISA in the same tax year). You must not exceed the ISA limits in any one tax year.
    • Withdrawals: Unlimited withdrawals can be made to your Nominated Accounts (as defined in the General Conditions) without notice or loss of interest, subject to the minimum balance of £1,000 being maintained.
    • Important information about our Limited Issue Online Access ISA (Issue 15):

      When money is paid into your account, provided the payment is received by us between 7am and 7pm, you will be able to withdraw the funds that day.

      Withdrawals to your Nominated Accounts made before 8pm on a working day will be made available to the payee the next working day.

      The Society’s online savings service will be unavailable each day for 1 hour between 12 midnight and 1am while our systems update.

    Once opened, you can deposit 2019/2020 funds or transfer in previous ISA funds’ (including 2019/2020 ISA funds deposited with another provider as long as these are not from an Innovative Finance ISA). The account may be closed for further deposits at any time. This will be done on a minimum of 30 days’ written notice, after which you will not be able to deposit further funds.

    The term is fixed until 3 January 2021

    • Interest paid: calculated daily and paid on maturity 3 January 2021.

    • Withdrawals: Withdrawals/transfers are permitted, although they will be subject to 60 days' loss of interest on an amount equivalent to that withdrawn/transferred. This means you might get back less than you originally deposited.

    This account is limited issue. Once opened, you can deposit 2019/2020 funds or transfer in previous ISA funds’ (including 2019/2020 ISA funds deposited with another provider as long as these are not from an Innovative Finance ISA) up to and including 31 December 2019. After this date the account may be closed for further deposits at any time and without notice.

    • Withdrawals: Withdrawals/transfers are permitted, although they will be subject to 150 days' loss of interest on an amount equivalent to that withdrawn/transferred. This means you might get back less than you originally deposited.

    This account is limited issue. Once opened, you can deposit 2019/2020 funds or transfer in previous ISA funds’ (including 2019/2020 ISA funds deposited with another provider as long as these are not from an Innovative Finance ISA) up to and including 31 December 2019.       Important information about our E-ISA:

    • Withdrawals: Unlimited withdrawals can be made, without notice or loss of interest.

    Once opened, you can deposit 2019/2020 funds or transfer in previous ISA funds’ (including 2019/2020 ISA funds deposited with another provider as long as these are not from an Innovative Finance ISA). The account may be closed for further deposits at any time. This will be done on a minimum of 30 days’ written notice, after which you will not be able to deposit further funds.

    • Interest paid: calculated daily and paid annually on 31 March
    • Minimum operating balance: £5,000.
    • Maximum balance: Deposit up to £20,000 in the 2019/2020 tax year (less any amount you have already subscribed in a Stocks and Shares ISA, Innovative Finance ISA and/or Lifetime ISA in the same tax year).
    • Withdrawals: Access is limited to 2 withdrawals per calendar year without notice or loss of interest, subject to the minimum balance of £5,000 being maintained. If you exceed this number of withdrawals (including closure of the account), the account will be subject to 30 days’ loss of interest on an equivalent amount to that withdrawn/transferred.

    The account can only be opened through one of our branches. You will be able to carry out some operations by telephone and online, where you have registered for online services. Once opened, you can deposit 2019/2020 funds or transfer in previous ISA funds’ (including 2019/2020 ISA funds deposited with another provider as long as these are not from an Innovative Finance ISA). The account may be closed for further deposits at any time. This will be done on a minimum of 30 days’ written notice, after which you will not be able to deposit further funds.
